If your organization provides services to the underserved and unhoused population in Lackawanna County, let us know what services you provide so we can keep our clients and constituents informed. H.O.P.E. can provide direct referrals or provide pre-screening.

WIth your financial support, we can reduce homelessness, build strong community members, and reduce stigma and resilience in the Greater Scranton area. H.O.P.E. is a registered charity in Pennsylvania and our Federal 501(c)3 charitable status is pending.
What We Do
H.o.p.e.4Scranton is a dedicated non-profit organization committed to transforming lives by providing access to stable housing for those experiencing homelessness. Through comprehensive support services, including job training, financial literacy workshops, and mental health counseling, we empower individuals to regain independence. Together, we build a community where everyone has a place to call home and the opportunity to thrive.

Founded by those who once faced homelessness, it transformed pain into purpose. They shared their stories, offering hope and guidance. Each success story fueled their mission. Together, they built a bridge to housing opportunities, empowering others to reclaim their lives and dream anew.

Direct Housing Support
H.O.P.E. works with the unhoused, including individuals reentering society from incarceration to establish a stable living environment free from prior influences and helps create plans to succeed and thrive, not merely survive.

H.O.P.E. provides referrals and educational opportunities for individuals to complete their G.E.D., apply and seek financial aid for educational programs and trade schools, and fosters a life-long learning environment.
